With the signature of Dr.-Ing. Jürgen Häring, the President of the Häring Group, and Dr. Jacek Bonarek, the Dean of the UJK branch, it is sealed: The technology company and the university will work hand in hand in the future. Starting in the coming academic year, students will be able to take a new course: German Studies. They will learn language elements from the technical field, thus qualifying themselves for companies like Häring, which is headquartered in Germany.
"At Häring, the management language has always been German. We therefore see collaborations like this as a great opportunity for the future of our company. In the global world, good communication is the end-all and be-all- a common language is the basis for this, especially when it comes to technical language. "Jürgen Häring explains the goals of the cooperation.
The UJK in Piotrków Trybunalski has big plans for the future: "We want to start training students in the new subject area as soon as possible so that they can master the German language and corresponding technical terms - because German studies is just the beginning" explains Dr. Jacek Bonarek. The cooperation is to be further expanded in the coming years to include courses from the technical field. The courses will be related to the local industrial environment in order to further strengthen and expand the local economic power as a whole.
