On December 8, around 200 top apprentices from all over Germany stood on stage – selected from a total of approximately 250,000 exam participants. The event was opened by DIHK President Peter Adrian, with the keynote speech delivered by Federal Minister of Education Karin Prien. For Jiahe, it was an unforgettable moment.
He describes receiving the award as follows: “I never would have imagined being honored on a stage in Berlin. The apprenticeship at Häring has given me the opportunity to grow both professionally and personally. My motto is: Books are the staircase to progress, and I do not climb that staircase alone. My greatest thanks go to my family and my training company. This award is a huge motivation for my future path – my next goal is to further qualify as a cutting machine operator (Zerspanungsmechaniker).”
Technical and Industrial Apprenticeship Manager Markus Schreijäg is likewise impressed: “We are very proud of Jiahe. He has earned this success through hard work, great commitment, and genuine passion. The award clearly shows the potential he has.”
Recognition from the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) Schwarzwald-Baar-Heuberg
In addition to the nationwide award ceremony, a regional recognition event also took place on December 4. The IHK Schwarzwald-Baar-Heuberg invited the top state and national award recipients, along with their trainers, to a joint dinner at Gasthaus Zum Hirschen in Brigachtal. The event honored the important role of training companies and highlighted the strong appreciation shown for these young talents.
