“Winning a competition is always a great feeling knowing that a lot of work and commitment went in to getting the win. We are really proud that our Häring team in Taicang visited the winning stage seven times, ”says Managing Director Dr.-Ing. Jürgen Häring excitedly. For the first time this year, the competition took place in Taicang. A total of 123 teams - consisting of 246 participants and 101 trainers - from various high-end manufacturers competed against each other in 5 different categories: industrial robotics, mold making and mechatronics, which in turn also included, electronics, mechanics and control software.
The competition was jointly organized by the city administration and the Shanghai branch of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry to present professional skills and strengthen German-Chinese cooperation in personnel training.
Trainees and employees from the Chinese location had given their best for the competition. And so there were 5 individual prizes - first and third place in the mold maker category, third place in the industrial mechanic category, and winners' prizes in the industrial robot and machining mechanic categories - two prizes to be attributed to the great team performance: The "Excellent Trainer" award, as well as the award for the "Excellent Organization" went to Häring Taicang. "We continuously invest in the best possible training, in innovative technological steps into the future - and in this competition recognized it in a direct comparison that we were on the right track," said Sen Ye, general manager at the Chinese location.
